Day 1

San Diego, CA

We begin our trek with a Welcome Dinner, Orientation and Social in San Diego, California. We have a wealth of information about Mexico travel to share with you. Our guides will also help you with the paperwork you will need to cross the border.

Day 2

Vicente Guerrero

Our campground in San Diego is a short drive to the Mexican border. We cross and head south along the Pacific Ocean to our first stop, Vicente Guerrero. Here we get set-up in the campground and enjoy or “Welcome to the Baja” Dinner and Social.

Day 3

Catavina/Santa Ines

Enjoy a short walk through the boulder strewn desert. See rare cactus and wildlife.

Day 4

Guerrero Negro

Get setup in the campground.

Day 5

Guerrero Negro

Travel a short distance to Scammon’s Lagoon one of the premier whale watching areas of the world. There have been reported to be 1000 whales and 400 babies in the lagoon.

Day 6

Playa Santispak

Here we camp on the beach at Bahia Concepcion. Enjoy snorkeling, beach combing or just relax.

Day 7

Playa Escondido

La Paz

During the day we get to know La Paz on a guided city tour. In the evening we participate in a Mexican Fiesta complete with mariachis, ballet folklorico and a buffet.

Travel the scenic mountain road or the easy desert road to Cabo San Lucas.

Day 11

Tour the local Glass Factory. Later we board ship for a Sunset Cruise with open bar and dinner.
